BLUE WAVE presents the Smartpin!

A new split pin from Blue Wave! As of now it is no longer necessary to tape up your stay tensioners to prevent sharp split pins from damaging your sails (see picture).

 

Blue Wave’s Smartpin is a revolutionary new design that renders the classical split pin superfluous. The Smartpin is a stainless steel pin that is fastened by means of a UV and saline-resistant Velcro Band.

The band can easily be attached and removed without the use of tools. The Smartpin is also available in four different sizes for stay tensioners ranging between 1/4" through 3/4". They can be used on any type of yacht; from open to seagoing vessels!
